Introduction of main components of switching power supply circuit

Author:

The switching power supply circuit is mainly composed of fuses, thermistors, mutual inductance filters, bridge rectifier circuits, filter capacitors, switching oscillator integrated circuits, switching transformers, optocouplers, three-terminal voltage regulators, etc.
1. Fuse
The fuse in the power circuit is usually installed near the AC 220V input terminal, mainly to ensure the safe operation of the circuit. In the circuit, the fuse is generally a cylindrical glass tube. When a fault such as a short circuit occurs in the circuit, the current will increase abnormally. At this time, the fuse will fuse itself and cut off the power supply when the current abnormally increases to a certain level, thereby starting to protect the safety of the circuit.
2. Thermistor
Thermistors play a shock-resistant role in the circuit. Usually, when the equipment is turned on, the 220V AC voltage will charge the capacitor after passing through the fuse, thermistor, and the bridge rectifier stack. The bridge rectifier stack, fuse, etc. in the stage circuit will bring shock and cause damage. In order to prevent the power supply from being impacted, a thermistor is usually added after the fuse for current limiting.
